The Itinerary

Day 1: Belgrade Panoramic tour

Welcome to Belgrade – The White City – famous for its nightlife, clubs, cafés and concerts, the capital of Serbia is sociable and friendly. After a warm welcome at the airport by the local representative, guests would be transferred to the hotel. Check-in to the hotel, relax and settle down while enjoying the view from the room. The Panoramic tour is the best way to see the beauty of the city within the shortest time. Few of the landmarks travellers would get a chance to explore would be Belgrade Fortress and the Kalemegdan Park – the largest park and the most important historical monument in the whole of Belgrade. The perfect picturesque spot with breathtaking views of the joining of the 2 famous rivers – Sava and Danube. Customers are invited to explore the fortress, which in its glory defended the city in 115 battles, and has been destroyed and rebuilt over 40 times. The St. Sava Church, Slavija Square, Belgrade Palace, the ‘New Court’, City hall, the Federal Parliament, Terazije street, The Republic Square, National Theatre, National Museum, Belgrade Cathedral and Princess Ljubica’s Residence would be the perfect itinerary of the day making Belgrade the place to be. Following a quick visit to the museum of Josip Broz Tito, former president of Yugoslavia, customers would wind up the day and get back to hotel.

Day 2: Excursion to Novi Sad and Sremski Karlovci

After breakfast, customers will get ready to explore the fascinating history and vibrant culture of Belgrade. Scattered between the green slopes of Fruška Gora and the blueness of Danube, Sremski Karlovci is the city which guards the rich treasury of Serbian culture and spirituality and a place famous for honey and wine. A visit to the museum of honey and wine will give the wine lovers an opportunity to taste the wine. Every building, house and street in Sremski Karlovci have their own stories to tell. The day would be incomplete without a visit to the stunning Petrovaradin fortress – known as the Gibralter of the Danube – which is much famous for its astonishing beauty and architecture designs, let alone the history. Novi Sad, the second largest city of Serbia, is the cultural and political hub. A ride to Novi Sad offers the chance to enjoy a walking tour through the city centre, beautiful Cathedrals, Freedom Square and Synagogue along with few clicks to fill the trip album. Return back to the hotel after a day filled with cultural details.

Day 3: Optional tour to Oplenac Royal Complex

This day is free at travellers choice. However, it is suggested to take a break from the city centre and go a little outside the city. Avala Mountains on the outskirts of Belgrade is a perfect place to get spectacular views of central Serbia on one side and Belgrade on the other. After the morning coffee at the Panorama Cafe enjoying great views of the surrounding landscape, then continue towards central Serbia-Sumadija and visit the birthplace of Karadjordje (Black George), the founder of royal dynasty Karadjordjevic. The highlight of this optional tour is a visit to Oplenac Royal Complex which stations the St.George Church, King’s House and the royal vineyards. The winery is a not to miss spot, located on a hilltop offering great views of the surrounding landscape.

Day 4: Departure

After breakfast, tourists are free to plan their day for activities of their choice. Plan out the time to visit souvenir shops nearby and collect some goodies to keep the memories of Belgrade alive. After checking out from the hotel holidaymakers will be transferred for the departure flight back home.
