Day 1: Arrival – Tbilisi city tour – Jvari – Mtskheta

• Visiting Jvari Monastery standing on the rocky mountaintop at the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers, overlooking the town of Mtskheta

Day 2: Tbilisi – Ananuri – Pasanauri – Kazbegi – Gergeti Holy Trinity Church – Tbilisi

• Driving along the Georgian Military Highway featuring panoramic views over the High Caucasus Mountains

Day 4: Borjomi – Rabati fortress – Khertvisi – Vardzia – Borjomi

• Driving towards the South-West of Georgia; arriving in Akhaltsikhe for a short tour of Rabati fortress
• En route, short photo-stop at Khertvisi fortress (10-11th century)
• Arriving in Vardzia, a multi-storied complex with streets, tunnels and stairs leading to monasteries, temples, fortresses, baths, libraries, and houses dating back to medieval ages
• Driving back to Borjomi; overnight stay in Borjomi

Day 5: Departure

• Driving back to Tbilisi
• Leisure time: shopping in Tbilisi, walking in the park and by the lake, visiting museums, and galleries
