The Experience

Travellers are invited to embark on an adventure amongst the imposing Himalayas, traditional villages and soothing landscapes. This six-day trip starts in Kathmandu, home to Swayambhunath Monkey Temple and UNESCO-listed Patan Durbar Square. Leaving the centuries-old temples and palaces behind, holidaymakers will set on their way to secluded countryside trek boasting scenic views over the streams, forests and hills. The exploration finishes with visiting the historical city of Panauti with Nepal’s oldest temple, Indreshwar Mahadev, before going back to Kathmandu.

The Itinerary

Day 1

• Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and meeting the travel assistant
• Transfer to the hotel and welcome drinks on arrival

Day 2

• Full-day Kathmandu sightseeing: see Boudhanath, the world’s biggest stupa and place ofBuddhists pilgrimage, indulge in the views of Kathmandu Valley from the Swayambhunath Temple and explore UNESCO-listed palaces, temples and monuments
• Rest of the day at your leisure

Day 3

• Trekking amongst Nepalese countryside and its farms, villages, streams and forests
• Reach the pilgrimage site of Namo Buddha, home to a Tibetan Buddhist monastery

Day 4

• Trekking to Balthali Village boasting scenic views of the rolling countryside
• Visit a traditional Tamang village, a secluded from the modern world village, which is home to a Buddhist community 

Day 5

• Leisurely walk to the Newari village of Panauti, known for its 14th-century wooden temples and old houses
• Exploring the historical temple of Indreshwar Mahadev
• Back to Kathmandu

• Transfer to the airport
