The Experience

This three-night tour serves as an opportunity to discover some of the gems of Georgia, a country known for its rolling hills, scenic landscapes, and hearty food. The adventure starts in Tbilisi, the capital city, with its Eastern Orthodox churches and art nouveau buildings. During the trip, travellers can also opt for additional excursions to Kazbegi, Mtskheta, and the Djvari Monastery Complex (additional fee applies, please enquire when booking).

Holidaymakers can choose to stay in a three- or four-star hotel. Hotel Rogalux awaits tourists in the city centre and offers a restaurant, terrace and rooms with TVs and toiletries. The four-star Hotel City Centre is set just over 3 kilometres from Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theatre and boasts modern interiors, restaurant and rooms with satellite TVs, hot drink-making facilities, and fridges.

The Itinerary

Day 1:

• Arrival to Tbilisi and transfer to the hotel; leisure time for the rest of the day

Day 2:

• Option to visit the UNESCO-listed Djvari Monastery Complex which is perched on a rocky mountaintop where the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers meet, visit the Svetickhovely Cathedral, one of the most important places of worship in the area, and see Mtskheta City and the Uplistsikhe Rock

Day 3:

• Option to venture out to the historic Ananuri, a castle complex set on the scenic River Aragvi and a trip to Gudauri

Day 4:

• Option for a city tour of Tbilisi including the central avenue of Rustaveli Avenue, the Metekhi Church, Bridge of Peace connecting the old town with Rike Park, Shardeni Street, waterfall and a flea market (if the time permits)
• Transfer to the airport for the flight back
