The Experience

Embark on this 10-day adventure and discover the highlights of Vietnam, travelling through cities and countryside. Become immersed in the rich cultural heritage and history of the different regions and take in picturesque landscapes as they’re guided through destinations including Hanoi, the Mekong Delta, Hoi An and Halong Bay.

The Itinerary

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh Arrival

On arrival in Ho Chi Minh, travellers are collected from the airport and transferred to their hotel; after a welcome drink, the rest of Day One is spent at leisure.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta – My Tho – Ben Tre (B/L)

Day Two is the day of a scenic journey to My Tho, the home of Vinh Trang pagoda. On the way there, travellers can enjoy the sight of cascading greenery of rice paddies which border the National Highway. Apart from the aforementioned temple, My Tho features bucolic sights of local lifestyle: stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the riverbank. Then the experienced guides take the visitors to Tortoise Islet, where they can dine in an orchard garden. After satisfying their hunger, they will be taken to Ben Tre to enjoy its coconut tree-shaded surroundings.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh – Cu Chi Tunnel Tour (B/L)

After spending another night in Ho Chi Minh City, on Day Three travellers will visit the historical Cu Chi tunnels – winding for over 220 kilometers, the tunnels served as a major point of resistance for the Vietnamese army during the tumultuous period of the Vietnam war and are considered by locals to be a monument to the days of that fateful conflict.

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh – Night Train To Da Nang (B)

Day Four should shake up things a bit. After checking out from the hotel, the holidaymakers will be able to spend some time in the city on their own. Then, they will take an overnight train from the capital to the city of Da Nang, and from there the journey will continue to Hoi An. Its name meaning “peaceful meeting place”, the town boasts an imposing Old Town district which was declared UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 5: Da Nang to Hoi An

Stroll peacefully through its streets, soak up the atmosphere and discover its charms on Day Five.

Day 6: Hoi An – My Son Holly Land (B/L)

Day Six features the trip to My Son Holy Land. Built in the late 4th century by Bhadravaman, the ruler of Kingdom of Cham, now it lies in disrepair, a shadow of its former glory. As a former site of worship, it houses well-preserved ruins of over 70 temples and towers. My Son Holy Land is a bonanza of ancient architectural delight featuring intricate carvings, sculptures, reliefs, and monuments. Also on Day Six, travellers will embark on a boat for a trip on Thu Bon river, stopping at Kim Bong Carpentry Village.

Day 7: Hoi An – Transfer To Da Nang – Flight To Hanoi (B)

On the next day, holidaymakers will take a flight to Hanoi, where they will stay in the city’s old quarter and enjoy leisure time on their own.

Day 8: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B/L/D)

Day Eight is the day of an overnight Halong Bay cruise. Spend the day kayaking, exploring Sung Sot Cave and enjoying the sun on the deck. The cruise features a sunset party aboard and squid fishing.

Day 9: Ha Long – Hanoi (B/L)

Start the following day from Tai Chi aboard, cruise to Titov Island and spend some time swimming before heading back to the harbour; participate in a cooking class and enjoy a Vietnamese lunch on board before disembarking and returning to Hanoi.

Day 10: Hanoi (B)

On the final day, tourists can explore Hanoi on their own before taking a transfer to Noi Bai International airport.
