The Experience

During this five-day tour, travellers get immersed in the rich culture and history of Vietnam and take in picturesque landscapes as they’re guided through Hanoi, Halong Bay and other destinations. Guests will spend three nights at Skylark Hotel, nestled in Hanoi Old Quarter on Phan Dinh Phung street which is considered one of the most beautiful streets of the city. They can wine and dine in the Skylark restaurant or stylish X Bar and relax at the Skylark Health Club, which features a unique heated indoor pool located on the top floor. One night will be spent on Huong Hai Sealife boat, which brings a good chance to meet fishing villagers and discover the truly natural beauty of the area.

The Itinerary

Day 1 Check-in at hotel in Hanoi (no meals)

• Arrival at Hanoi, check-in at the Skylark hotel located in Hanoi centre, welcome drink
• Overnight stay

Day 2 Hanoi – Halong – Huong Hai Sealife Cruise (meals: breakfast/lunch/dinner)

• 7.30-8.10am: Departure from Hanoi to Halong bay by shuttle van (optional)
• 11.30am: Upon arrival at Vinashin TouristHarbor, travellers are welcomed at the waiting room before enjoying the cruise
• 12.15-12.30pm: Embark on Huong Hai Sealife. Welcome drink, a brief overview of the itinerary with the Cruise Manager and important safety guidelines. Check-in at the cabins
• 1pm: Sailing among famous Islets of Bai Tu Long Bay with natural panoramic views. Guests can admire the grace of the bay while enjoying the lunch in restaurant located on the first deck
• 2.30pm: Exploration of the hidden Co Cave (known as ThienCanh Son Cave). Relax on a white sandy beach, walk along the beach or swim at Hon Co Island
• 3.45pm: Return to Huong Hai Sealife, break to enjoy happy hour (30% discount off from the special drink menu including mocktails and mixed drinks between 4:30-7pm)
• 4.30pm: Kayaking at Cong Do or relax on the cruise
• 6pm: Onboarding the vessel, chef’s cooking demonstration and possibility to prepare traditional Vietnamese spring rolls
• 7.15pm: Dinner served in the restaurant on the first desk
• 9pm: Evening activities: movie night, board games, squid fishing or spa services (the latter’s fee not included in the price),

Day 3 Halong – Hanoi – Check in Hotel (meals: breakfast/lunch)

• 6.30am: Tai-chi session on the sundeck
• 7am: Breakfast with cookies and tea or coffee in the restaurant
• 7.30am: Visiting VungVieng village
• 8.30am: Return to Huong Hai Sealife
• 9.15am: Check-out
• 9.30-10.40am: Brunch in the restaurant while cruising back to Vinashin tourist harbour
• 11am: Disembark from Huong Hai Sealife
• Midday: Drive back to Hanoi
• 4-4.30pm: Arrival in Hanoi

Day 4 Hanoi – Hoalu – Tamcoc Tour (meals: breakfast/lunch)

• 7.45am: Pick-up from hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter
• 8.15am: Drive to Ninh Binh Province
• 10am: Arriving at Hoa Lu Ancient Capital
• 10.15am: Visiting King Dinh and King Le’s temples
• 11.30am: Arriving in Tam Coc Wharf
• 11.45am: Buffet lunch with Vietnamese cuisine
• 1pm: Getting on Sampan boats through caves and visiting countryside landscape
• 3pm: Back to Tam Coc Wharf to chill out
• 3.15pm: Biking to Bich Dong on country road
• 4pm: Getting on shuttle bus to go back to Hanoi
• 6.30pm: Farewell with the guide
