On this tour, travellers may discover age-old temples, World Heritage Sites and admire the sunrise and sunset over the Himalayas. The Kathmandu Valley is home to historic sights including the Boudhnath Stupa and Kathmandu Durbar Square, reflecting ancient Nepali culture.

Itinerary

Day 1: Greetings at Kathmandu Airport

• Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu
• Pick up and transfer to hotel
• Visit our office for a briefing about your program
• Evening is free at your own leisure
• Overnight stay in Kathmandu at Samsara Resort or similar

Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing/ Drive to Nagarkot

• After breakfast, leave for a full day sightseeing tour around the Kathmandu Valley: visit the Pashupatinath Temple and Swyambhunath (UNESCO World Heritage Sites), the biggest Buddhist Stupa at Boudhnath and Kathmandu Durbar Square
• Drive to Nagarkot Hill station (35 km / 1 hour 40 minute drive). Arrive and check in at the resort/hotel
• After getting refreshed walk around the village and enjoy the views of the valley with the Himalayan ranges
• Overnight in Nagarkot at Hotel Country Villa or similar

Day 3: Nagarkot / Tour of Bhaktapur and Patan/ Drive to Kathmandu

• Wake up early in the morning to admire the sunrise over the Himalayan range
• Drive back to Kathmandu with en route visit of Bhaktapur and Patan Durbar Square
• Arrive in Kathmandu and check in at the hotel.
• Evening is free for you to go shopping / personal activities
• Overnight stay in Kathmandu

Day 4: Departure

• Transfer to the airport for onward journey
